Old Skull Zine review calls Puncture Wound “nice straight forward brutal death metal that is quite good, like a cross between (old) Deicide, Cannibal Corpse & Suffocation with a hint of Massacre. The Ep is thick as fuck with some pretty cool riffing with Tampa Bay sized grooves, sick growls, guitars, drums and bass to achieve a nice balance that lends itself greatly to this great early 90’s OSDM vibe.”
